I just bought the new release from the Alexandra Lehmler Quintett named "No Blah Blah". It's already their third album. Great, complex compositions but playful and sunny. Michel Portal's album Bailador was my favourite jazz album in 2011. It is much more accessible than his older stuff and radiates vibrancy and great beauty. The live version of the track Citrus Juice differs in its atmosphere from the album version but has another kind of greatness to it.
